One of the most popular television streaming brands in the nation is officially dipping its toe into the bookmaking business. FuboTV Inc., the company that founded and launched FuboTV back in 2015, is currently in the process of rolling out their brand new Fubo Sportsbook into various states across the United States.
After making its much-anticipated debut in Iowa back in November 2021, Fubo Sportsbook branched out into Arizona just one month later in December. The company hopes to continue its expansion after announcing market access partnership deals with The Cordish Companies in Pennsylvania and Caesars Entertainment Inc. in both Indiana and – you guessed it – New Jersey. Here’s what bettors in the Garden State can expect from Fubo Sportsbook, the brand’s premium sports betting platform.

Fubo NJ bonus details
Any and all new users who haven’t yet created an account with Fubo Sportsbook are eligible to take advantage of this phenomenal new welcome bonus! First off, be sure to enter the promo code listed above when signing up for an account. It’s not there yet, since Fubo hasn’t launched in NJ yet, but we’ll have one soon. Once registered, all new users will have 30 days to place their risk-free wager before the offer expires. Simply deposit any amount and place a wager on any sports market or event of your choice, capped at -200 odds (+150 qualifies, -250 does not). The first wager that settles will qualify as your risk-free first wager, so make it count!
If your first wager wins, you’ll receive the full stake and winnings in cash, as always. If it loses, Fubo Sportsbook will have you covered with 100% of your initial stake returned in the form of a promotional credit. Promotional credits will be distributed to eligible player accounts within 72 hours of bet settlement and will expire after 30 days. Any amount lost beyond the initial $1,000 risk-free wager will not be refunded. All promotional credits are subject to a 1x rollover, meaning players will have to wager at least 1x the bonus funds before being able to withdraw any of it.
Signing up for a sports betting account in NJ
Anyone who is at least 21 years or older is eligible to sign up for Fubo Sportsbook. Players don’t need to be residents of New Jersey to sign up, however they must be physically located within state lines in order to successfully place any legal wagers.
Players can jumpstart the registration process by clicking on the big blue button labeled ‘Join’ at the top of the mobile app. The same button reads ‘Register’ if signing up via desktop.
After opening this menu, players will be asked to enter an existing email address, select a password, and enter their zip code. There is also a section to enter any promo codes at the bottom of this page. Be sure to enter your code here to avoid losing out on any promotional offers. Stay tuned, we’ll have it for you as soon as Fubo launches with sports betting in New Jersey.
Next up, players will be asked to enter their first name, last name, gender, date of birth, home address, city, state, and zip code. Any and all personal information provided is used to confirm each player’s legal identity and is 100% safe, secure, and will remain confidential.

Fubo Sportsbook software overview
Once your account is activated, it’s time to check out the technology platforms offered by Fubo Sportbook. The sportsbook is currently available on both mobile and desktop, so players who choose to wager with Fubo Sportsbook will have some options.
Fubo Spotsbook Mobile app layout
Fubo Sportsbook’s mobile app is currently only available to download on iOS platforms, with an Android app hopefully launching at a later date. The app is easy on the eyes, with a dark backdrop complimented by bright white detailing. Players can easily navigate Fubo Sportsbook’s app by using any of the five tabs on the bottom of the screen:
- Home: The home tab is the app’s main hub. This is where any upcoming action will be listed, with different menus available just by clicking on a specific sport or league. Players can select the home tab at any time to return to the main menu.
- Live:Â The live tab will display any and all live events currently taking place. Players can sort by sport or league, with an endless array of options at their disposal. Fubo Sportsbook offers live odds for just about every sports market they have listed.
- Betslip:Â Any potential wagers selected on the app will appear in the betslip tab. From here, players can view all of their options, from singles to parlays. Just about every action involving placing an actual wager will go through the betslip tab.
- Sports:Â The sports tab contains the entire list of sports markets and events being offered by Fubo Sportsbook. Each sport is listed as its own category and further broken down by league. There is a ton of variety here, so players are likely to find what they are looking for.
- Account:Â This tab is the home for anything involving the user’s account. Settings, customer service, bet history – you name it. If the request has anything to do with a customer’s account, there is a good chance it can be found within this tab.
Desktop layout
Fubo Sportsbook’s desktop layout is right on par with their mobile app. All of the functions are exactly the same, leaving little differences between the app and the website. The only major difference would be the location of the tabs on a computer as opposed to the mobile app. On the desktop view, both the ‘Home’ and ‘Live’ tabs will be listed at the top of your screen. The ‘Sports’ tab will be displayed as a long list on the lefthand side of the screen at all times, while the ‘Betslip’ tab will appear on the righthand side of the screen whenever a game or event is selected. Players can view the ‘Account’ tab by selecting their username or icon located in the upper righthand corner of the homepage.
Players will be required to download a geolocation software in order to use the sportsbook on their computer. Geolocation is the process of identifying one’s location by means of digital information and is required by all legal sportsbooks operating in the United States. Smartphones already come with this technology built-in, which is why players only need to take this extra step when wagering on a desktop computer.
Banking with Fubo Sportsbook
Despite still being in its early stages of bookmaking, Fubo Sportsbook offers a wide variety of deposit and withdrawal options. Players can choose from all of the classic banking options previously used by the rest of New Jersey’s premier sportsbooks!
Depositing funds
- Global Payments e-check (ACH):Â This method is used to link a player’s online bank account to their sportsbook. Once connected, players will be able to deposit funds directly from their online bank account at the click of a button. This method only requires a one-time connection, making it one of the easiest and most convenient banking options.
- Worldplay (Credit/Debit Card):Â Worldplay is an online payment processor that is currently being used to accept any credit or debit card deposits made through Fubo Sportsbook.
- Play+ Prepaid Card:Â Play+ is a phenomenal service offered by just about every sportsbook in existence. Upon signing up and activating their card, players can use Play+ to make deposits using their credit or debit card. Players who sign up will also receive a physical copy of their Play+ card in the mail, which can be used to withdraw funds from an ATM.
- Paysafecash: Paysafecash should be the go-to option for any users looking to make a deposit in cash. Simply head down to any retail location offering the service (7-Eleven, CVS, Family Dollar, Walgreens, Royal Farms, etc.), scan your barcode, and pay – that’s it! Your funds will appear in your Fubo Sportsbook account within a few minutes.
- Bank Wire Transfer: Easily the most prolonged deposit method of the bunch, a bank wire transfer requires a little extra work on behalf of the customer. All users who request a bank wire transfer will need to arrange the details with their bank prior to doing anything with the sportsbook. Once the details are finalized, the process can begin. It can take anywhere from 7-10 days for funds to reach your account, so be prepared to wait.
Withdrawing funds
Unfortunately, only two of the banking methods listed above can complete both deposits and withdrawals. Players are often limited when it comes to withdrawals, so it always pays to have multiple banking methods in your rotation.
Global Payments e-check (ACH) is one of the two withdrawal methods offered by Fubo Sportsbook. It works exactly the same way as it does for deposits, except the money is being sent back to the player’s bank account. Withdrawals using this method typically take anywhere from 3-5 business days to complete. This is the only way to digitally withdraw funds from a Fubo Sportsbook account.
Play+ prepaid cards are the second withdrawal method available on the app and website. As touched upon above, players who activate a Play+ prepaid card will receive a physical copy of their card in the mail shortly after activation. Players who wish to withdraw funds using this method will have to travel to an ATM and use the physical card to complete their transaction. There is no other way to withdraw funds in cash other than this method.
Bet variety
Fubo Sportsbook covers all of the basic bet types that players should expect from a quality sportsbook. Players can select a specific sport or market to expand all of the betting options offered:
- Spread bets:Â The standard betting option for most point-based sports. Rather than trying to pick which team wins the game outright, spread betting equalizes the playing field between lesser teams by forcing the better team to win by a specific margin in order for players to cash any wagers on them.
- Moneyline bets:Â As the spread bet’s main counterpart, moneyline bets involve simply selecting the winner of the game.
- Totals:Â Over or under? Total bets incorporate the combined score of both teams in a contest. Players must select if the set number is going to be higher or lower than the final (or half, or first quarter, etc.) score of that game.
- Live/in-play bets:Â As mentioned above, Fubo Sportsbook offers live odds on just about every market on the app or website.
- Player props:Â Bets based on real players’ stats. Will Aaron Rodgers throw for more than 249.5 passing yards? If you think the answer is yes, then take the over!
- Futures:Â An extremely self-explanatory bet type, futures are bets based on future outcomes. Unlike betting on a game that will end later that night, future bettors usually have to wait months for their wagers to settle. Championship futures are probably the most commonly placed future bet. Players can select the winner of next year’s Super Bowl in April, double down after an injury in August training camp, and continue to place futures on their team throughout the regular season. Updated odds are released daily, so most futures are available to bet on all season long.
Fubo Sportsbook also offers its users a ton of different ways to place their action. Players can add any spread, moneyline, or total to their bet slip and view all of the betting options that are available:
- Single:Â One game. Whether it’s on a team to cover the spread or win the game outright, a single focuses on one selection, and one selection only.
- Parlay:Â The combination of one or more single bets. Parlay odds are multiplied with each leg that is added, often making payouts extremely high in comparison to the original stake. Most casual bettors love parlays because they offer little risk and high rewards.
- Teaser:Â Teasers are essentially just parlays with extra points added to each leg. As a result, the odds aren’t as high as a typical parlay might be. Conservative players enjoy betting teasers because they allow each selection to have a bigger cushion on the spread.
- Round Robin:Â Round Robins can be created when a player puts three or more selections into their betslip. A round robin basically creates smaller parlays that cover every possible combination of the games listed in one’s betslip. The more games that are added, the more combinations that are possible. But this also means more money will have to be put up, as the bet gets more expensive with each selection added.
Sports markets offered
Browsing all of the sports markets offered by Fubo Sportsbook is similar to selecting a channel on FuboTV – there is a lot to choose from. Whether it is an NFL game or a tennis match, there is a good chance Fubo Sportsbook is offering action on it:
- Baseball (MLB)
- Basketball (NBA, NCAAB, A1, B.League)
- Boxing
- Formula 1 Racing
- Football (NFL, NCAAF)
- Golf
- Hockey (NHL, KHL)
- Nascar
- Soccer (La Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga)
- Tennis
Players will not be limited to the categories listed above, as there are many other sports markets offered within the Fubo Sportsbook app. For example, they offer odds for nearly every major soccer league in the world – so don’t sweat it if you don’t see your favorite league on the list above.
Keep in mind the state of New Jersey does restrict access to betting on local, New Jersey based college teams. This means that any and all New Jersey colleges won’t be found on Fubo Sportsbook’s betting catalog in the state. Similarly, there’s also a state law in place that says you can’t bet on any college game being held in the sate, no matter whose playing in it. Beyond those collegiate restrictions, everything else will pretty much be fair game!
Promotions
At the moment, it doesn’t look like there is much going on in the promotional department for Fubo Sportsbook. Outside of their generous new user welcome bonus, there isn’t anything else on the app that mentions other promotions. It’s still very early, and they may add some down the road, but they should probably look to add some incentives for existing users. Welcome bonuses get customers in, promotional offers keep customers in.
Customer support
Fubo Sportsbook’s customer support window can be accessed at any time by scrolling all the way to the bottom of your app or browser. The link is labeled as ‘Customer Support’ on desktop and ‘Help Desk’ on the mobile app. Once inside, players will find a series of FAQs broken down into different categories:
- Account Registration & Verification
- General FAQs
- Types of Wagers & Wager InquiriesÂ
- Deposits & Withdrawals
- Account Maintenance
- Promotions
- Location Services – Geolocation
- Responsible Gaming
If you cannot seem to find any answers amongst the information above, there is one more option at the bottom of the page that will take users to a contact form. Players will be asked to fill out their email address, state, a subject, and a description of their issue. There is also an option to attach any pictures or videos that may help your case. After submission, one of the fantastic customer support representatives at Fubo Sportsbook will get back to you shortly via email. Unfortunately Fubo Sportsbook currently does not offer live chat or phone support as options.
More about Fubo Sportsbook
FuboTV was founded in January of 2015 and originated as a streaming service for soccer games. The service expanded in 2017, branching out into entertainment channels and other sports and leagues. Now streaming the likes of MLB, NBA, NHL, and NFL, FuboTV successfully garnered enough big-name investors to land themselves on Forbes’ Next Billion-Dollar Startups list. By 2019, they agreed to deals that would add channels from Viacom Networks, the Big Ten Network, and the Discovery Networks. FuboTV’s biggest additions came in June 2020, when they announced a deal that would bring Disney, ESPN, and ABC to the platform.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, FuboTV closed 2020 with around 400,000 paid subscribers. They also gained approval to list on the New York Stock Exchange, under $FUBO. With the streaming service now off and running, FuboTV entered 2021 with big plans to enter the online sports betting space. They quickly agreed to a multi-year partnership deal with the New York Jets that included the creation of the brand new Fubo Sportsbook Lounge at MetLife Stadium.
On November 3rd, 2021, Fubo Sportsbook launched in the state of Iowa, marking the first state to acquire their services. It was the first of many states to gain access to Fubo Sportsbook.
