PlayStar has officially become the newest entry in the iGaming market in New Jersey, announcing it has brought its NJ online casino gaming platform to the Apple and Google Play stores in the Garden State.
The PlayStar app offers players access to live games of roulette, baccarat, blackjack, and on-demand slots, including popular titles like Starburst, Cleopatra, and Megajackpockets.
The company says it has “the most personalized user experience” in the market through its customer concierge service that suggests new games and activities based on its customers’ gambling behaviors.
PlayStar is offering a 100% deposit match for new New Jersey users of up to $1,000 and up to 500 free spins.
To promote the new platform, the company was on site at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall for the Oct. 29 Mary J. Blige concert and the Nov. 4 All Elite Wrestling show. Customers who sign up for the company’s Star Rewards can receive monthly vouchers to redeem at participating restaurants and service providers. The company raffled swag and a chance to win a South Jersey group wine tour or Jets sideline passes and club tickets at both events. The company also plans to launch a PlayStar Club loyalty program.
State regulators announced in August that PlayStar had been approved for an online casino app as part of a partnership with Ocean Casino.
New Jersey legalized online casino games in 2013 and is home to more than two dozen regulated iGaming operators.
