BetMGM announced Wednesday that it paid out an online casino record $3.5 million to a jackpot winner playing MGM Grand Millions slots through the Borgata Online Casino.
The woman, who identified herself as Dori B., claimed the Colossal Jackpot on a night when she played just one $10 spin. The $3.5 million payout exceeds the previous record of $3.2 million, which was also paid out by BetMGM last year.
“I saw the Colossal Jackpot prize grow past $3.5 [million] and started playing MGM Grand Millions slot game because I just knew it had to hit soon,” Dori B. said in a press release. “I thought, ‘Someone is going to hit it, maybe it could be me.’ On the night I won, all it took was a $10 spin. One second later, I became a millionaire – thanks to BetMGM – and my life has changed forever.
“I’m a program manager, so I see things in phases,” she added. “My next phase – filled with family vacations and volunteer work – starts now. My dream of becoming a mega jackpot winner has come true!”

BetMGM is one of five skins the Borgata has for online casino gaming in New Jersey. The Borgata Online Casino generated $38.8 million in revenue through casino games and poker in October, the most of any online operator in the history of the state in a single month since going live in November 2013. It was part of a record $127 million generated by New Jersey’s 29 online casino sites for October.
“Congratulations to Dori on her record-breaking win,” said Matthew Sunderland, BetMGM’s vice president of gaming. “We’re thrilled to offer our players life-changing prizes of this size through our exclusive jackpot network and cannot wait to continue setting records throughout the U.S.”
